'Ngyitting Wardong Wirin Boodja'
'Ngyitting ( Ice-age ) Wardong ( crow ) Wirin ( spirit ) Boodja' ( Land )
These fresh contemporary works express the emerging stories spoken from the fluid shadows of ancient water sculpted rocks of the Pleistocene age, in the local Darling Scarp ( Perth region ) The mysterious abstract landscapes and multi layered dimensional realms of new/unknown/old/forgotten world scenes, subtly suggest glimpses of ‘ Koorah Koorah’, a time long ago when culture was strong and of the preserved and hidden history held within the rocks during the ‘Ngyitting’ ( ice age ) A timeless cultural land.
